Rockwood?

Isn't it rockford? blink.gif

Anyway chuck a couple of phone books in there, see if it makes a noticable difference to them. If so your box is too big.

btw do you have the TS specs for it? I'm guessing it's a lancer.

oh dear.

rockwood is a cheap ebay brand (ripoff of Rockford Fosgate and Kenwood). just like:

Kenford (Kenwood and Rockford Fosgate)
Sony Xblod (Sony Xplod)
etc.

anyway, have you got the thiele small (t/s) specs?

should have come in the box

rockwood and boss audio are the best combination for SQL.

hahahahaha not really sound quality discussion this topic.

that was the longest sentence I've read in a while.

Anyway. I doubt whether a rockwood would come with TS parameters Stooge biggrin.gif

Since they aren't very good subs to start with, the box size isn't going to make a huge difference... I'd just keep it between 1ft(28L) and 1.5ft(42L).

Hi Jake,

Maybe the beginners forum would have been better for this question.

Try here http://www.rockwoodhifi.com/contact.html and ask them for the thiele small specs and the recommended box size/type.

If you get no response, which is likely. Then i would suggest:
1. Go the 1.25 cuft sealed and put up with them.
2. Sell them to someone who doesn't know any better or you don't like.
3. Hook them up to 240v in the back yard (be careful) and give them a 50 Hz burp, but make sure you video it for us.

Good luck
