Anyone know of any cable or broadband deals that are cheap with no strings attacthed?

I dont mind download limits etc as long as they aren't stupidly small. I don't have any idea how much we would download in a month tho

go here http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/ and pick plan search on the left, it'll show what plans match your usage.

Also check out the discussion forums before choosing, have a look and see if those using the plans your thinking about are happy, there are some very dodgy cheap plans around.
