ok, so how do i remove the paint from a plastic model, without damaging the plastic? ie, turps will melt the plastic, and sandpaper will remove small details etc.anybody know?

Alot of people strip paint by placing the model in brake fluid for a bit of time and then scrubbing under running water with an old toothbrush.

I used to do this all the time. i used non-acetone nailpolish remover. just soak it for a little bit like about 10 min then use a toothbrush to remove the paint then wash the model in water. If you8 leave it to long in the nail polish remover the plastic will start to melt.
