I goto Utopias, i only like the bigger ones cause the smaller places just dont do it for me...love the atmosphere...
been to most of them since utopia 5th bday which was the first time they used the superdome, that was awesome!!

Tickets start at about $85.00 per person – that’s not including camping and parking. I have to agree with Hatton – not my kind of party that’s for sure. Utopia was excellent back in the day – before it became so commercial and so expensive!

Depending if Utopia is your thing,
Like XAIOLONG my first utopia was #5 and i loved it, i was only 17, no popping no drinking, nothing and i had the best time..
I think the atmospheres awesome, depending on your crowd again, some crowds can be very nice, and alot of people make so many new friends,
But others just prefer to keep to themselves,
Like me, i like to dance on my own, let the music go straight into me, and i get lost with it.
Its whatever you choose to make out of it ..

yeah. i'm more down with smaller raves...
while i've had some WILD times at huge raves etc, my best moments were listening to good dj's in clubs.
utopia isnt my scene, but there are a few good huge (superdome) raves i've been to that are just crazy good.

Godskitchen in perth on sunday was good.
untill the fire alarms went off. It was prelly funny as i thought it was part of a song at first. But with bigger raves its all about the venue and atmospheres. my 2c.

Transmission and all that arent what i'd call raves.....
I love the smaller raves. Generally due to the lack of mega tools who come, "to pick up da chicks bro" and generally act like fcuk wits.
Although i will be in attendance at utopia. Something this big (24 hours ) just cant be missed i reckon

Yeh word...looking very forward to Earthcore.
Bigger parties suck...I hate the word 'rave' and 'ravers' when I hear these I think of dumb kandy kids and annoying stinky sweaty roid boys, and the tools that go so they can say 'I went to a sik rave man'.
However...I'm not going to miss out on seeing a DJ or Producer that I love just because it's at a bigger party...these are the sacrifices we make!

God's Kitchen your first rave?
You poor thing...if it's the music you're into rather than the atmosphere, I recommend clubs...heaps better, the atmosphere at raves, and the unfortunate sound complications which usually occur, get really annoying after a while.
The atmosphere can be the most inviting part of a party at times.

Well i'm pretty sure now, that last nite was one of the best nights in my life. Therez really no words to describe such a well setup event. The lst break from dancing i had was at 4am and didn't stop again until afta 7 when the cosmic gate set finshed, who by the way had an insane set which went off....
Although my body is paying for it right now..

Utopia was a Huge night,
Totally loved it, and like you butch, i raved from around 9pm till 6 am with only an hour break,
15 or so of us got stuffed around at the end with some problems with the bus company who didnt come to pick us up, and we were stuck there until 3pm.
But anyway - i cant wait for another rave, im still jumping in my seat, and its 8pm....

True - it got freezing down in the valley if you wernt dancing in the tents, I went for a quick snooze but the cold just got to me so i went back inside,
It was expected 13000 people to turn up, alot of the early bird tickets went real quick, but i think the weather detered the rest of the ravers,
Still - 3000 hardcores pushing on, was pretty good.
