Me and a friend did the trek to Vermont today to pick up his new car.
A black Nissan R34 Skyline GTR V-Spec

!!
Some little pics from my phone...Ill get some decent quality ones soon and maybe even some video...
Learnt that the guys from Tower Audio did the alarm install (contracted by Hypertech). We tested it early today. Top job they did too so big thanks to Adam and co.

Meh it looks like a skyline.
After having driven a few skylines R32 R33 and R34 in GTS-T & GT-R forms im impressed by them but not greatly - they are a friggen enormous car to manuver and all paw grip scares the crap out of me - its unnerving to say the least when it lets go... I think the GTS-T is more "fun" to drive than the GT-R

Im yet to drive an R so I cant really relate. Im trying to convince him to drive me down to the first CAASQ meet and go in the show n shine for a bit of fun. It looks much better in person, it just has a presence. Having it in Traralgon, the thing just looks out of place. Example: when we were parked at this restaurant/cafe thing called Iimis, two randoms came up, took a pic on their phone and walked off. Im like hmm yeah nothing suss there.

there wouldn't be many ~ $100k cars that could match the all round performance that this car offers.
sure you can get STi's and Evo's for < $60k brand new, but it's no Zilla

your mate is one lucky ba$tard!!!!!

Ive tried! But no it's a "track car" apparently.

Mar 10 2006, 12:29 PM
Track cars can have stereos
jas
Mar 10 2006, 01:13 PM
high quality front splits
4channel amp
+ single 12inch sub
4channel amp + sub box removable for track meets
remove @ track since you need tunes when you drive there
relaxation is the key to fast driving. A good stereo is a massive help in this area.

Hard work and rich parents. In the past he has had: R33 GTS auto (booooo!), an NA supra, one (or maybe two, I cant remember) Evo's, his GTT that he just got rid of and this baby. So jealous.

^^ they all look the damn same;
BIG FAT
not a fan of any of that import style so i should reserve my comments. For a car i generally dont like, that one does look pretty mean.
ps: he's gone though a few cars, no crape ones, tell him to make up his mind!

He has. This is the car he has wanted since he was little(ish). He was telling me he saw promo shots of a 34 GTR and said "I want one of those." And now look.

Yeah what he said. My mate picked this up for $71k so there is no way your brother got one for $22k.
EDIT: Missed this first time around.
