Directed Electronics Australia - responsible for the distribution of brands such as Orion, West Coast Customs (by Orion), Directed Video, Precision Power (PPI), Directed Xtreme, Clifford, Viper, Python and more have just finished the demo vehicle for Autobarn.

This 1994 Toyota Supra packs some awesome power under the bonnet, so what better way to complete this showpiece than with a custom installation of the new range of West Coast Customs (by Orion) gear!

The entire install was completed in ONLY 100 HOURS!, by Directed Snake Pit's (USA) John Wilson, and Directed Electronics Australia's Chris Alweyn inhouse.

Here's some sneak preview images of the completed product. Car Audio Australia has exclusive access to the entire build up process photos and will be posting those for all to see very shortly.

im curious to know whether this is bagged or not? due to the 2 air tanks between the screens..

Certainly not bagged. The tanks you are referring to are part of the fuel system.

Too many performance upgrades to mention. We looked after the audio side and the performance side was already completed. Will ask the guys in charge of the car for a list of the performance upgrades and post them for you. Was originally designed as a drift car.

So instead of strut bars and roll cage you decided to stiffen up the cabin with some fibreglass smile.gif.

Id love to see this thing drift now smile.gif.

Twin surge tanks? How does that work? only 1 fuel rail? unsure.gif

Firstly i must congratulate the guys for the most awesome effort, we presented them with a boot no-one would like to try and install a system into, then i preceeded to tell the guys it aint a show pony and will have the bejessus caned out of it at drift events, 1/4 mile and the odd track battle so it had to be a relatively light system..... oh yeah one last important bit... it had to be finished in 6 or 7 days.... champion effort.

i have included a pic of the fuel system and an average shot of the engine bay, if anyone i interested in the mechanicals let me know as i had the job of piecing together lots of pretty boxes filled with tasty gear. Current power out put is 418rwkw at 1.9bar and it makes over 300rwkw from 4600rpm onwards

thanks to west coast customs, the snake pit, directed and the guys (John Wilson, Chris Alweyn)
whos faces show the pain of such an install in this threads pictures above tongue.gif

100 hours in 7 days and two people. Believe me its true one of the guys is still suffering the consequences now. Amazing how a virus will jump on you when you are run down.
