Hi,

when buying goods from overseas on the internet, what are the rules about paying customs and GST?

how are some people avoid paying customs and gst?

cheers
Mr_Bob
to avoid it you can get the parcel sent as a "present"
and keep the value low,
if you're ordering lots of small items get them sent in multiple parcels. to keep teh overall value of each parcel down.
they're more happy to overlook them.

not sure how well the "gift" thing works though, i would've thought they have caught onto that by now
Dave
get the company to write warranty return on it and they will let it straight through.
