hi,
can someone here recommend me a good/cheap mechanic to do run of the mill jobs. like brake changes.

yeah brake changes are a piece of u just most likely need a 14 ml spanner and a g clamp (u can us spanners but a clamp is easier) and u just push back the piston in the caliper and put the new pads in, most service manuals will help

Jobsons Discount Tyres and Brakes in Hornsby are good...
I did the brakes on my VL myself... but get the mirage ones done there...
