Team shakes took out 1st in Street Max 3-4 with 150.1 (billy) and 2nd in Street 1-2 with 139.2 (ME)

And i consitered it a privilage to have my ass well and trualy handed to me by Steve.
That car just gose to show what can realy be done with 2 15" subs when you live in the middle of nowhere

They couldnt get the batteries to charge over 16V initially.. 149 was the result. All day on the charge got them up to 18.5V.. the magic of power I guess.
Old Strokers I assume ? I dunno, can't say I've seen a lot of Strokers

was talking to one of the guys there, aparantly the car has been in storage for a year. all they did was give it a wash and charge the bats up.

that would be right, just when i have been lookin at recent numbers and thought yeah i could get back in dbdrag in st a with a fairly cheap setup and hit around the 144db mark and still take out a few 1sts, then wazza and tarja had too come along and spoil it for, gee thanx guys

yeah expecting numbers upto 150's this year from Street A, B and C
street max classes 150+'s

so yeah tis gonna be a big numbers year tis getting closer and more competetive in classes this year

cant wait til finals this year when everyones got the cars out thats doing them still now and the ones that are going to re-build or do more

hopefully see a couple more records fall this year

i have been hovering at 144dB for ages now, so it feels good to finally crack the 145 mark!!

I remember like the 2nd show i went to, i won St A with 140.0dB!!

Those days are gone i think!!! lol

your welcome, and yeah crakcing the 145db mark was great for me too, seeing as i only had the single 12" and the single amp made it feel even more great.

yeah i know and you only won that show cause i was out


anyway i think maybe next year when i can actually afford some decent gear i might make a comeback.

Yeah we where responsible for the Suzuki Van.
They are the Old school strokers 15d2's..
Battery's are top secret... ( otherwords they dont have a name.. lol)
And yes the van was in my back yard un touched for a year, it was brought out of hiding friday arvo, it was washed and charged.
We hope to actually get a chance to work on it a bit more and re tune it for a bit more spl.
The amps are the Dub Audio 1800d's from Audiobahn, Iv found them to be ultra efficient and they dont kill my battery's.

yes i have 2 atomic spl10s in that car and my car is a CRX.

I also used 2 6000 wrms amps from schneider to get this sorce the other back bone to the system apart from the subs.

Results are up.....
