Thinking of running a DD 2515 with a jaycar response monobock, 1 x 700rms, will be in a 2cuft ported box . Will be in the back of a VN Commodore with only the single front battery. What kind of dB reading can i expect?

Cheers for your help!

mate if i can hit 137 with an 8" out of a commodore sedan then i don't see 140 being to hard for you with a 15"
it's all about box design and positioning.
top louded sub and port as far to the rear was the loudest in testing for me.. you gain abut 3 db's from mearly moving the box to the rear front firing from the rear is also loud but loading off the bootlid is slightly louder.
so yeah theres your advice take it or leave it.

2cuft ported box? dont' expect it to be very loud then. If it's anything like my fusion then u'll need at least a 3cuft box. and don't jaycars push out 800wrms @ 1ohm?

I guess the 2515 has dual 4 ohm coils.

A 3 cube box would be better, tune to 45Hz for SPL bias or 40Hz for musical use.
