My 2 year old Portable MD recorder doesn't record anymore. I was just wondering if anyone repairs them and could give me an idea as to how much $$$$ I am looking at.

It's a Sony MZ-R900.
I believe it's some fault with the recording head as it plays the source through headphones while in record mode and actually appears as though it is recording the timer moves etc. It then says data save etc but when you eject the disc and re-insert it says blank disc.

I can however erase a disc...strange!!!
