I might do both SQ and SPL with one car

Time to see what my new sub box will do. Should be in Street B - 2 x 12" & 2 amps.

Audio is not in good enough condition for SQ yet, but SPL I should be right.

Help needed
We are 3 days out from the SPL comp and I have no woffers and they wont be back until next week.

Don’t suppose someone wants to lend me a 2 x 15”s or even sell me a couple of cheap second hand ones. (Vennom’s etc…) to use in the weekends comp.

I would get them picked up form Melbourne tomorrow to allow me 1 day to build a box, test and tune and get ready to go.

I want to compete to keep dB drag's alive and well in vic.....

I will be there in the red mirage sm1-2 hope it will be a great day see you all there

neither the mazda nor the rangie will make an appearance

couldnt convince dad to let me use the rangie and the mazda is off the road...

Only one I can remember is Patrick Chen got 155.3dB I think it was. Loudest car on the day.

woooo, today was awesome, got pressured into entering, the dbdrags guys were nice enough to let me run with the pc, only for today though. shame my bloody circuit breaker wasnt upto scratch, soo frustrating. kinda my fault too, stupid for running a 70, 120amp here i come. its weird seeing my name in the dbdrags results.

for those that dont know me(most of you) i was the dude with the silver vn wagon. shoulda cleaned it too, but i only found out about today, yesterday at work, had today off, took advantage of it, then had work ring me at like 11 to work 12-5, stuff that.

awesome day guys, look forward to the next one, might try and get a headunit sorted out for next time i enter, whenever that may be.

haha yep Hakhawk i made you enter I paid for it so why not Oh well bugger about the circuit braker pissed me off bad,

Well what can i say, Great day, abit too hot for me.. first time ever at a DB event found everyone to be extremely friendly and easy going.. the organisers where so helpfull. got worried about the ellinations as i could only use one lane ( well sort of ) as i could not fit under the marquee. to high.. for those who where there may have worked out im Daz with the Ford Transit van.. so all in all thanks to everyone for making feel so welcome.... down on DB's but room to improve!

Quite happy with the help from everyone for my first event. I don't know who was more surprised on my first run, the judges or myself. I was thinking I'd be lucky to get mid 130's, so I was damn happy with my 140.9. If that doesn't help I was in the silver Mazda SP20. One really good thing about it was that my other half now wants me to upgrade the system and get to more competitions!

blanket... What sub did you have? I think I heard it was a Treo... If so, what model?

Also, does anyone know who had the white VR/VS wagon in the SPL? And what subs and amps they were running?

Blanket's is an SSi 12 I believe.

The white VR/VS wagon runs the 4x Clarion 12s (not too sure of the specific model or the amps) Im pretty sure.

in the vs im running 2 pcx1500 ppi amps class ab at one ohm not good idea but just for comps and 3 drycell batt final db was 141.1 in sealed and remember i got a big car to fill

Street A might be hard but at least everyone is in the same boat…
Haven’t seen too many Street A scores over 145dB in Vic so if your around those numbers then you might do quite well.

I don't have a car, sub or amps yet... So i'm not too close to 145db

If I start playing it will be around August or so when the sub I want becomes available.
