Just look in the yellow pages under "Fibreglass Supplies" wink.gif As for Vinyl, look under "Upholstery supplies". That's pretty much how I found suppliers in my area wink.gif

Good luck!

Don't buy it at Bunnings, unless you want to pay way too much for it.

Thanks blanketman and everyone reply to this post.

I found a good fibreglass supplier, 1ltr +30ml catalyst only cost me $27 bucks, hehe where bunngings selling it over $50

Vinyl , i went to afew places Mega Trims, and other small shop, i like black thicky vinyl but $25 a mtr . but there're some ppl suggest me to buy the vinyl that has FOAM underneath. coz he said if i use the one without foam, some LUMPs or HOLES might show up.

so i didnt end up buy any vinyl yet, still looking

I have another question too, if i fibreglass my floor do i need to use PUTTy or bog to add on top of my fibreglass? then sandering it down to smooth and glue the vinyl on top? yeah?

How easy is it to sander the putty off? will the putty hold to fibreglasS?

Thank guys,
BIGW
if you want proper trimming vinyl the VYFAB in Bignell Rd Cheltenham is your best bet, much higher grade than the carp at spotlight. its unbacked though so your fiberglass needs to be micky. foam underlay wont show the nice curvatures of most f/g work either.

Vinyl will show most imperfections in the underlying surface, you need to get it very smooth and even. (think of the prep you would need to paint, almost that much)

Use normal automotive bog, it sands easily and sticks to fibreglass very well (they are pretty similar chemically and use the same active ingredient in the hardener)

Keep in mind though that bog sets rock hard so if the underlying glass layer flexes the bog can crack.

man u got had there! its about who ya know dude! i buy 21 kg (over 20litre) of resin for $120. however i do go direct to the distributor. i also started getting the cloth in 75m roll. my point is it is very cheap crap! if u ask the right questions!

im also on good wicket with an uphulstor, in most cases u can get off cuts big enough for what ur doin in ur car.

Yeah, about once a week a tin of 20L of fibreglass resin goes up (With 250mls of that catalyst stuff). Usually goes for about $130-$140 and it is in VIC.
