Ive tried autumn in cascade's four season range, but as interesting as the taste was, I felt like a yuppie whose first words were "latte" drinking expensive beer

Wow i'm surprised that a lot of you guys drink Crownies
I just can't justify spending 40-50 bucks on a case of beer that doesn't really taste that good after all. To each their own i guess

Force of habbit makes me a Jack Daniels man, but if drinking beer then Fosters is the go! And for all those who think that Corona is the bee's knees it's just the mexican version of our own VB.
Premium price for local beer??

I really enjoy going to pubs and breweries who make there own beer, MEN in Perth should know these famous places, 'sail and anchour' and 'little creatures', one not so famous is 'K K's'. They make the best tasting beers, won **** loads of awards, and always something new to try.
But when i drink run of the mill beers, it's either Tooheys extra dry, killkenny, carlton draught, swan draught, carlton premium dry, carlton cold.
Beer of the month for me at the moment but is Carlton empire
All hahn beers are
-DJ-
Oct 8 2003, 01:18 PM
cheap: carlton cold
mid-budget: TEDS
dear: corona, stellar or heinekin
different: james squire, coopers pale ale
i generally don't trust most beers on tap. a LOT of places don't clean their lines as much as they should. i've had stellar that tastes worse than kangaroo piss (vb).
got no time for new, old, vb, crownies and guiness.

Nastro Azzuro! It's an Italian import and it's pretty nice, taste's a bit different when you first drink it, but once you go back to sjit like Crownies ( ) you realise how good it is. Word of warning though, it is relatively expensive. Expect to pay about $24 for a six-pack
Cheers...Mitch

Gto some of that the other day. It was surprisingly nice and was cheaper than all the other local beers. I reckon you can't go past Extra Dry for a reliable beer. I just bottled some home brew so we'll see how that goes.

Carlton Draughts. You can't fault them!!!
The new Carlton Empires are good, they're as easy to drink as water!!!
Asahi Dry (Japanese) is a damn good brew, but it's pretty expensive here. Was quite cheap in the Gold Coast though (must be all the Jap tourists)

Im drinking homebrew at the moment, it's much nicer than any beer you can buy at a shop and you can't beat the cost of about 2 bucks a 6-pack
As far as normal beer
General Drinking : Nothing beats Carlton Draught (especially on tap), Tooheys Pils, Tooheys Extra Dry, Melbourne Bitter
More Expensive local: Coopers Pale Ale, Cascade Premium,
International: Stella, Becks, Asahi, DAB, Guiness
NOT-Corona(it's ok with the lemon, but you look like a poof),
NOT-Carlton cold(if you want something bitter go for MB)
Anthrax

Where the hell is the pole?!
I hated beer something severe up until about 2 months ago (i was a strictly 'scotch only' man), and trism got me hooked on TED's. I.E. Extra Dry. And i dont mind Corona's with Lemon.
Everything else can go die in a fire though.

Yeah, thats about it...

Carlton Draught, TED, Newcastle Brown, many more always off tap if possible.

If you can, ask him if he sees any Carlton Draught reps, I'm after a nice Carlton handle for a home bar setup - they hardly show up on ebay. Has to be for a Floryte tap too, Cheers.
