I just use one of those ones that clip onto the air vent. Forgot the brand! but it has the little fan thing on it. You can get them from nearly any auto store like autobarn, about $8...

the best one in the world i reckon is "SHELL" Vanilla.
its not a cheap sh!t smelling lame vanilla its got a nice perfumey smell to it. its in about a 100mL bottle with a spray pump.
i love it. which reminds me its getting a bit low now! about $6 and lasts AGES.

This is my proven solution for keeping your car smelling fresh. Simply head down to Purity/Woolworths and grab a six-pack of soap that comes in the cardboard box. I can recommend the tangerine/orange one. Also pick yourself up some Velcro dots. Simply purchase these items, go home and grab a skewer. Stab holes in the box but don’t remove the soap. Attach the Velcro dots to the box and then strategically place the carton underneath either the drivers or passenger’s seat. This works a treat and will only cost $3.00 and will last you three to four months. Don’t knock it before you try it!
Cheers…Mitch

i use the ambi after smoke job. the reason i first bought it was coz i had a nice engine fire!
to get teh smell out worked well.
But i smoke cigars every now ansd then and it still works a treat.
But if u have the little vloume control thing on the left at all the sub thump makes it fall down to the nearly nothing side.
oh well

The good old purple leaf/tree from big w smells good (smells like some form of berry). They're bloody annoying hanging off your rear view mirror though...

i use the fabric softener pouches too, bit pointless in the ute (had a different smell each week, from fast food to diesel, to engine oil, and so on) but when i bought the Ghia, the first thing i did was to throw one under each front seat

Park the car in the shed every night with the windows down.
Rexona for men to get a manily smell about my girly car.
Vanilla and Nilodour cocktail to get rid of smells and occasionally I'll hit it with 3 bucks worth of new car scent under the seats.
Head lining and carpet is where most smells come from.
Shampoo the carpets and dryout for 2-3 days with a fan so your underlay doesnt rot.
Leather seats - boot polish leave a tin under the seat open for a few days make sure its not going to more any where though cause you wont get that out of the carpet.
keep the car fresh is the best way to keep a car smelling good.
