I have a Toshiba Satelite 2510cds laptop for sale, it is quite old, 400mhz pentium chip, 32meg ram, internal cdrom, FDD, battery, recharger case, PCMCIA net card, xircom dongle.

It was working fine, i tried to format it to re-install windows to prapare it for sale, and the damn thing wont format, says there are HDD errors. So i would say the HDD is stuffed. Other than that it is in near perfect condition, apart from the loss of 1 or 2 pixels. Battery still has good power.

U can just install a working HDD and it will work fine.

BTW the HDD error was on the outer limits of the disc, IE it would terminate the format at 80% So I reformated it on a new 3 gig partition (HDD size is 4gig) and reinstalled win2k and it works fine!

yeh i have a celeron 600 laptop with a dead screen. (tube has gone inside the screen) not the FL invertor that powers it..

anyway if win 2k is working on it id be happy to give you the 150 + postage. i mean its slow as hell.. but it would be good just to stick a wifi card in and use for msn and stuff + i have a new battery to suit it and i think another 32mb ram card or a 128mb one.. lol.
