I bought myself a Kenwood DDX7047 and are in the process of installing it into my VT
but I am a bit unsure on a few things and wondered if you guys could help
1) Is it correct to attach the parking sensor wire (green) to an earth point if you want to be able to watch it while you are moving? if not what do i connect it to?
2) Is it necessary to connect the pink reverse sensor wire or is this just if you have a reverse cam?
3) What did you connect the steering wheel remote (light blue/ yellow) wire to?
4) I have to antenna control wires one is for up the other for down do i connect the motor antenna control wire to both or just one? Same with the dimmer wire.
From the car i have two wires a dimmer in and a dimmer out which do i connect too both or just one?
5) Do the power control wire need to be connected (it says in the book that
"when using the optional power amp connect to it's power control terminal"
i have not connected it to anything ATM
I pluged it in and it is saying
Dissconnected cable found. please confirm connection line
the only cables that are not connected are the Power control wire
the external amp control wire and the reverse sensor wire
