Isn't this the amp that supposedly "breaks" the rules about power in = power out?

In other words, being say 200% efficient with the power coming in..... nea.gif
BlackIce
Yeah thats the one that defies the laws of thermo-dynamics. Its got a perpetual motion machine inside it powered by fairy dust.
DD Phil
No it's just got a crap-load of caps, allowing it's output to exceed it's input for short bursts.

Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It is stored in the form of potential. As the potential energy increases your heart surges, adrenaline rushes and your body braces in anticipation. The energy demands to be released. When you choose to release the potential, is now up to you.

but good frontstage amp for some of the big SPL extream cars
500 W x 4 @ 4 Ohms RMS
1000 W x 4 @ 2 Ohms RMS
2000 W x 4 @ 1 Ohm RMS
3750 W x 4 @ 0.5 Ohm RMS
2000 W x 2 @ 4 Ohms bridged RMS
4000 W x 2 @ 2 Ohms bridged RMS
7500 W x 2 @ 1 Ohm bridged RMS

BlackIce
Probably legal in SS classes with unlimited capacitors.. where $20k will buy a lot more power for a lot less.

It's just caps? nea.gif

All these fanboys going on about how amazing the amplifier is, how it will make everyone look stupid....
A powerful amp but value for money seems poor.
ReMiX
I'd buy 8 Z1's at full RRP for that and sleep happy knowing they make ALOT more power than that pile of c(r?)ap(s)..
Pumped
Holy Crap, its Massive!
tower
what would be the total current draw of 8 z1's ? cause this amp has a maximum current draw of 300 amps !

and its not class d ! so it could run speakers and subs, off it 4 channels !
trism
yeah my mate has one of those amps, and those all of those subs as well in his 95 civic.......... rofl.gif

Of course eight Z1s would draw more than 300A, but you'd have around 30,000Wrms continuously. smile.gif

Phil
BlackIce
1 Z1 should draw more than 300A
APS
and it does
