Hi guys. I've got an issue with the LCD screen I just bought..
It doesn't seem to want to display DVD's at all.

Here's my existing setup:
Existing Headunit > JVC KD-DV6205
Currently installed > JVC KV-M705 7" In-Dash LCD
All wires are connected to the already existing loom from the HU (easiest way).

LCD wires to HU wiresare as follows:
Battery wire to Battery wire
Ground wire to Ground wire
Accessories wire to Remote wire (So the LCD turns on automatically, it doesn't if I connect to the Acc)
Parking Brake wire to Ground wire (to try to bypass the 'vehicle in motion' safety)

Now, the problem is it gives me the "DVD's cannot be viewed while driving" or some crap like that..
I can view the mp3 files on the LCD, but no picture on proper DVD's... sad.gif

It shouldn't be a grounding problem.. I don't think.
Coz when I didn't ground the parking brake wire, the 'DVD's cannot be viewed' message came up for mp3 CD's as well...

I've tried searching the forums, but couldn't find anything relevant to this issue...

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

There are 2. One from the LCD and one from the HU.
