what gear you got in your car......??? just subs, amps and batteries will do.

You will get a couple of qualifying runs to get you started and work out what frequency to run for your final runs.

Best bet is to see one of the guys who look after it on the day.
Thay are all competitors and all willing to help you out.

Also it kicks off at 5 but if you can get there around 3 - 3:30 I can give you a couple of runs then.


That goes for any new competitors

my bro wants to enter again, but last time we only got 136db, i have swapped batteries (orbital blue top one) and downloaded the CAA spl CD, but we dont know what Hz to burp at, would it be possible to get a couple test runs in early aswell?

we lost like 12DB over the 3 runs lol from 136 to 124 i think it was....

wont be competing today, only making 130db, not bad i guess for the equipment and the fact the car is huge.

The 323 has a dead alternator, it was never a problem in SS 1-2, Brad forgot his charger (lol) so after our hour drive, Ripped saved the day and went to his house to get my Dial-o-matic.

Unfortunately it looks like he drove the Corona over it, it's stuck on full voltage, so it would run for a few minutes, then cut off and so on.

Never mind, it's back to Super Street with 16V and Z2s for GCAS.

I think everyone had a good time, that's the main thing.

i got a best of 147.3db. i was running a 9915 off a d3 @ 0.25ohm the surfboards didn't fit

the surfborads didnt fit that stinks, so when is your next event ripped?

You would be in Street C so long as the entire install is in the boot.

I had to run it at 1 ohm as the single 1g run wouldn't supply the required current to do 0.25ohm.

We would have only held the record until Michael runs his Civic anyhow

The show went alright. Pity there was only 4 cars in ST A to compete with.
I came 2nd with 142.2, Bit dissapointed considering the new amp only gained me 0.3 so far.
Could be the subs though, they got real stinky in testing b4 the comp.

It's called power compression.

"Smaller" subs tend to work great with lower power, but when you throw 1000s of watts at them they just don't get any louder.
