Hey peeps
Anyone know the EXACT process of how to tranfer CUSTOM (not personal) numberplates from 1 person to another.

Yeh your get a Registration Plate Transfer form from the RTA..
If one of the plates is a different owner (if you car changing them between cars etc) then the person that isnt present has to write a letter to say they agree to let you echange plates etc..
I did this a couple of days ago!

Thats what I was thinking also.
In SA when you get your custom plate you are given a from that says its yours and on the back of the form there is a section to fill out the details for the new "holder" when you sell it to someone else.

How much are the storage fees?
Last I heard they were $20 p/a (but this was 8/2002)
