hey all,
next friday i will have just finished my hsc an so will my girlfriend, an to celebrate i wanted to do something with her. a lot of the time we just do dinner and a drive in or something, but that wouldn't cut it i don't think.
so has anyone got ideas? i was thinkin dinner at a nice restaurant at the vineyards or something, then maybe a drive to the beach for a late night walk along the shore, or something along those lines.
before you say "do something she likes", that's what we always do, we go out to movies, dinner, physical stuff like bowling, video nights, etc... i wanted something a bit more special (an it will be a surprise too.)
anyway, that's the question. thanks everyone.

Welllll...
I have an idea, considering you said you often go out for dinner already why not make this a bit different...like you want... You're already planning on going to the beach so maybe try and find somewhere a bit more private and have some sort of picnic kinda thing.... its quite fun Pack an eski full of stuff and even hide it somewhere before hand it if you want...Make sure you include a rug to sit on...
Tada

wow, that's a good idea... picnic on the beach... i'd have to think of some food though! what kinda food would be good for a dinner on the beach, picnic style?

mate picnic sounds good, but do it at sunset
and get some candles (if it isnt too windy) or just a lamp of some sort (the oil lamps are classy as, but hard to find)
chicks dig the whole sunset thing

My gf likes to do anything on a date...but she loves going away for a night like get a cottage or something nice with at least (HAS TO HAVE) spa, open fire place.
Anyway, guaranteed to be lucky for next 6 months.

Picnic is a nice idea and the beach is always good, some girls are not fond of it, but most like it!
Just remember things like jackets if it’s cold and a blanket to sit on as well as drinks, and napkins etc. - also a rose or flowers would not go a miss
Just use your imagination, I’m sure she’ll love it!

SuperVT......The last true romantic
You said that you always do things she want's, the door swings both ways How about doing something you want to do, not that you probably don't enjoy doing what she likes.

I snuck round for me and gf's annaversery can't spell) any way i put flowers on her door step late the night before. she seemed to have really liked that. BE WARNED when attempting this. i was abused by the guy across the road who thought i was robbing her and had car highbeams light up the whole yard from people trying to find me. How ever her driveway is about 100m long so we are talking of a big front yard. it worked though and she always brings up how lovly i am.

you seem like a pretty romantic type of guy already,
You'll find something i bet you, and even if you dont. - pack your car with an eski, some munchies, drinks, cd's, jackets and hit the road, cruise windsor, ? head up to the mountains? city? wherever you want, unpack, have a bite, a drink, then cruise along to ya next spot... stop by at aqua golf, have a few hits, ... keep going.... check out the planes take off and land at Richmond? maybe down to the international airport? thats a good drive...
You'll have a blast - !

I'd take her away for the weekend. You're pretty much celebrating the end of school and the end of the year, so you should do something bigger than usual. I'd tend to go away from the city though and maybe find somewhere out in the country side thats nice and quietish
