What's the dif between 2pak paint and acrylic paint.
In terms of painting a car?
What's the crap in a spray can?

2-pack is good for high wear areas like doorjambs, etc, acrylic generally gives a good high gloss finish IIRC

1 of the key differences, 2pack needs a spray booth and to be baked etc... and acryllic u can just paint in your backyard

2 pak is an epoxy based paint that needs a hardner added to the paint before its sprayed the finish is very hard and if the finished coat is done well it needs little cutting and buffing for a perfect finish,
its more expensive and requires more skill to apply as its more sensitive to temperature and humidity that acrylic, there is different hardners avalible for different rates of cure to allow for this, it also has to be used onced mixed(or you can be dogey and put it in the fridge )
also its extremely toxic(carcnogenic) and it is elegal to spray it in anything other that a registered spray booth and you have to have the right oxegen aided breathing mask as normal filters don't work with it.
acrylic an the other hand can be used pretty much anywhere and is easy to use' especially for people who have no idear what there doing but it requires more sanding and finishing for a perfect coat
