QUOTE:
IMHO rockford fosgate rocks. They sound awse, put out bulk bass and can take a hammering. Some are pretty heavy due to the fact that they have concrete in em but every car ive heard with em sounds amazing.

9 bucks for a 40kg bag of rapid set concrete from my work, you could do a whole bunch of systems with 1 bag!

they have used concrete in the cone material, they probably just add some to the glue or cone fibers when ther made to make them more rigid

isnt concrete powder...not solid...cause cement is solid isnt it? Concrete is just the powder used to make cement...and we just call it concrete when it is really cement? So does that mena they use dust in their cones?

Concrete is sand, gravel, cement. It can be in powder or solid.
Cement is what is needed to make concrete.

Maybe the guy who wrote it was having a little joke by saying there is concrete in them, to give you an idea of just how heavy they are. Like saying "sub X weighs a tonne" or "whats this enclosure made out of ? Lead ?". It doesnt mean the sub actually weights in at 1 tonne, or that the enclosures made of lead ya know..
