Just wonderin if anyone was heading to the Bathurst 24 hour race this year? myself and a couple of mates from up here will be makin the trip down, sounds like its going to be a good race this year! we will be the ones under the green tent with a "F**K HOLDEN" banner i think. its on the 21st - 23rd of november.

i will be heading down and i also have a banner that says F#CK FORDS so when are you going cause i will make sure im infront of you. LOL

heh heh, sounds good, between us weve got all bases covered! were heading down early thurs morning, stayin at my Grandparents in Parkes on thurs night, then cruisin out to bathurst on fri, probly back to parkes fri nite, then back to bathurst sat & sun. weve got a big garden gazebo thing so you can park your banner under there if u want.

yeah we were a bit worried about that, maybe its not such a good idea... have to judge the bogan factor when we get there, see if it is safe or not!

there are 2 XR6 turbos in the production class, a GT coon GT performance category, and a XR8 in class F. there are a couple of S15's and a 350z, but thats about it for jap cars cept for all the rexs and evos. mostly all are porche/ferrari/bmw/other euro. there would be some sick jap cars if they didnt put the race on on the same day as the final round of the JGTC cup, so obviously none of them are going to come over, and they only allow JGTC group2, not group1, in the rules, cause they are scared their precious stinkbox two door taxis will get beaten by 4cylinder supras!!! check out

sure, you can park your rex wherever you feel like! be good to look at a decent car when the twin mongrels are puttering past! sorry, no lambos in the race again this year, due to no bdget and increased parity (ie. 25mm restrictors!!) the lambos were not goin to be competitive. M3 GTR will be niiiiiice tho!
