this is what i posted on tempro

this moring i was driving alone no ware near at 100% about 50% when my amp refuse dto work it did put some sort of sound thru the sub every 10 seconds so i turned it of then turne dit back on to see what had happened same prop. then at work i went and looked at amp all seemed fine. when i started the car it worked so i was happy.

on the way home i got prolly 100m then it stoped all together the amp is making a horrible high pitched noise and now the Thermal LED is on (red) it has cooled down i have disconnected the power and reconnected it but still same prop what does this sound like to u?

any idea or any one that knows any thing about EQ amps

sounds like a short somewhere.

check the pwoer wires are not touching eachother and that its earthed correctly, and that the speaker wires arent touching.

ive taken it out and hooke dit up 2 a spare battery. with no load on it still does the same thing. would it needa load as one of teh speaker cablers was loose in the car. so it might of ran with no load. ive opened it up nothing is burned
