I don't usually enter many competitions, and only realy feel i have a chance when i have to draw something.
So what the hell do the winning entries of those "tell us in 25 words or less why you deserve the prize" comps write? Do they win because of wit, honesty or something else? Anyone who has won should shed some light on this for me! hehe

I won a "Fuel" CD on the Chanel 10 site a couple of years ago. I've got no idea what I wrote down though.

Well was it like "oohooooo pick me! i would die without this CD, they are my favourite all time band!" or was it some far out thing like "I require this CD to complete the final piece in a time machine i have created for the 2008 Geneva convention, where I shall attempt to bring back to life Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton simultanesouly into the same being."
Or is there no telling what they would want?

I once won one of those things!
I got 2 tickets to see Sheryl Crow live in concert for the 'My Favorite Mistake' tour...
you had to write your favorite mistake out - i just said that i "brought the cd for a mate -but they already had it. So I kept it, and it is now my most favourist CD ever" (or something like that)
Anyways i went on to win - needless to say i scalped the tickets and have sence used the CD as a coaster...
Have no idea why i even brought it - it was Sh!t...

It was more like "I'm bored and have free cable internet".
I don't think I would have gotten too excited about a Fuel CD.
The best thing to do is think of something that no one else would answer with. You can imagine the judges reading the same thing 50 times in a row.
