I have found a guard roller and was thinking of getting it to do cashies on weekends and stuff. Woudnt charge shop prices and would hire to people. How much would you pay if you were to hire one for say a day and how much would you want to pay per corner?

I think u need a heat gun to warm the paint a little bit.

Depends what guard roller .. Usually around $150 per guard for a pro .. But if theres questionable workmanship (Your not a pro) .. I wouldnt use you.

Theres a fairly high risk that the paint will crack and the guard will need to be repainted, I wouldnt get it done through anyone but a Panel shop that garuntee to repaint the guard if there is paint damage.

lol yeah i know there is risk involved thus u sign an indemnity form. I have done the odd car here and there with a hammer and heat gun and i have only cracked the paint on the inside surface only. I have all the necessary tools to complete the jobs too. Mahine is simple to use if you were to hire. Results are like a panel shop if not better lol

Pro shops do it for like $50 a corner..

yeh $45 is the standard go for lipping.

150 per corner is ridiculous, can buy widebody fenders for most cars and spray em for that sorta price tongue.gif
