How to start my career? I'm not quite sure...
I've loved drawing and painting my entire life, studied art all my life too, highschool, tafe and now uni, but where to next?

I've done work experience with some newpaper cartoonists, but thats not quite what i want to be doing.

My ultimate goal is to become some sort of concept or character artist on films/cartoons, but also do freelance illustration/design on the side.

Ideally in a few years i want to be able to have a portfolio site like any of these guys;

I plan on starting by getting some sort of studio at home together, just so i have the space and materials needed. What about a computer? Would i need insane hardware and software to compete?

Any ideas?
