Well Baz was sold on Friday... *sobs*

Baz being my E36 325 Coupe.

So Chaz (My Misses' Charade) should be getting overhauled, and hopefully mid 2004 should be hitting the lanes.

It's just not right coming home to an empty garage...
Mr_Bob

*group hug*
are you going to replace it?
DrEvil
I knew the "I wanna be like Marc" craze would wear off

/me waits for fuddbutter to sell his

So i guess you will be following Nemesis's lead and buying a Holden now?
icebreaker
hahahahaha

Not sure what I'll do about a car for myself.
I think we'll just share the Charade for a while.
I've got the ZX2R. I think I'll prob get a ZX6R in the next couple of months.

But we'll have to wait and see.
Interceptor
doesnt the ZX2R go quick enough for you?
c'mon m8, u cant expect it to move, let alone move quickly with you on it!
Mr_Bob
i forgot you had the bike.

the ZX2R kicks along quite nicely actually.

Just thinking I'd like something with abit more balls, due to the fact I also carry luggage around a fair bit. When going to work, i carry my Laptop or backpack and then my tank bag.

So havig a larger bike would be of an advantage. Also for dragging your sorry asses off

hehehehe

Mr Neil

Just a quick question that is slightly OT but still pertanant nonetheless. How did the BM serve you? The reason that I ask is because I am looking at getting one of these in about a year from now; either an E36 325 like yours or (if i can find one) an E30 325i or 325is that is MANUAL! What is with all the auto's out there in the market! Just want to know that it is going to have enough poke for me; don't want anything too fast, just something that is fun to drive (read: RWD!) and is reasonably quick and could be enhanced slightly. I think I have managed to track down a chip that will open her up a bit more as exhausts really do jack on a beemer, but we'll wait and see! So, yeah, how'd she treat you!

Cheers...Mitch

I never had a problem with mine.
I put an M3 Racing Dynamics exhaust (Dual 2 1/4" mandrel bend piping), and a K & N Replacement filter, and removed the silencer in the air box.

I would loved to have done the suspension over, and a few other bits and pieces, but the new owner has big plans, and he's wanting to do all the things I was. So I was happy to let her go to a good home.

His brother picked up a 318is, that has been done over as an M3. Hammon suspension, the works. 3.2L M3 Engine and 6 Speed Box... I was more jealous with his purchase than with the sale of my car. hehehe

EXACTLY what I want to do, but considering a good 318is (e36) is going to cost around $20K, 3.2L M3 engine and 'box around $12-15K plus better brakes, suspension etc you are already looking at around $40K, might as well just buy a '94 M3 (albeit with the 3.0 5spd) for around the same money! Still, he's going to have one heck of a nice car. If I can get the resources, i'm planning an e30 with e36 M3 hardware. I'll drag you then Trough_Lolly hehe

BM Prices have dropped heaps..
I wouldn't spend $20 on a 318 unless it was like a 95+. And then taking options into consideration. But why bother with a 318i not much grunt.
