wanna link mine and a mates ps2 on gt3 so can whip his @ss. he showed me this $20 jobbie in kmart today that is used to link dvd player to a monitor. i dun fink he knows wot he's talkin about. maybe i wrong. anyone?

U can plug 2 controllers into a PS2

u can link two ps2's together, if you have two tv's (tick), two ps2's (tick), and two copies of the same game if they are compatible for "link-up" (tick). u do however need a "link" cable to join the ps2's.

Ahh so u mean linking with that mini port at the front labeled 'S400'? In that case I am presuming that Electronic Boutique will have the cable u need, can't remember what it's actually called.. IDE comes to mind for some reason..

I've done this before mate. As you already know, you need 2 of everything (PS2's, TV's, GT3) BUT the missing link is a 4 pin to 4 pin IEEE1394 Firewire cable. Can get it from DickSmith, Cat No: XH3264, RRP - $26.98 or from Jaycar, Cat No: WC-7640, RRP - $25.95.
Possibly source one from any computer store too, and probly cheaper than these prices.
I haven't found any other games besides GT3 that you can do this with, but it is heaps of fun playing 2 player races having a screen each!

yeah it is awesome, i got my cord from k-mart proper sony on it was ..... no more then 30 i think, go halves!
