My dad is going to be in hospital for a week and i want to get him one of those cheapo (~$200) portable DVD players. There are heaps on Ebay for around that price but NFI if they are ne good or not.

Any one got one of these off ebay and got some feedback for me?

I have a 7" Portable DVD player, can use it in car (12v cig lighter), 240v Wall plug, or battery.

i bought mine for $300 for run with my car (aux out cables aswell)

sell it to you for $200 inc postage

used 3 maybe 4 times, never mounted in car.

Player, Cig adaptor, Wall Adaptor, battery, remote, manual, earphones.

let me know if your interested

better to get a near new then a 2nd hand of ebay

you can get them real cheap at Strathfield, and then you get to actually see the quality (crapness???) before you buy.

buy one from k-mart, keep ya box and receipt and theyll probly let you have it for 2 months!!!

pull out the old excuse of "it was a gift for someone, but i changed it for something else"

Went out to Target and K-mart last night and they both have the for around $200 for a 7" screen. Aparently they have them a JB Hifi too, so might call in and see if i can try before i buy biggrin.gif Bit concerned about the 'crapiness' of the screens.

generally a good investment...

u can get ones with 10" screens now for like $350-400 which is awesome and cheap!

some stratties players are half decent...
