Doesn't really matter to be perfectly honest.
I'll be stepping down from a 12" to a 10".

As for facing it, try angling the box in different directions such as firing at the tailgate, at the rear hatch, towards the rear corners and see which response you prefer smile.gif

okie
how cum ur down sizing ???
i was abit worried that u may not hear a 10" very much at abit higher speeds 80 - 100 kmph

Changing the enclosure entirely so thought I'd run a smaller driver. Anyways, I have plenty of power to play with so that should help things somewhat.

As for the speed thing - it won't make that much of a difference, I would estimate none at all.

yer im looking to use as small a box as possible
the pheonix gold was only 0.5cu for the 10" and its dual 4ohm Vc so i can run 480w into it
should be plenty
thanx for that wink.gif

your in a smaller vehicle,

a 10" might sound a little bit nicer than a equivalent 12"
however it does come down to the individual driver, and box design/power ect.

I'd still go for a good 10 if I had a little car like that.
