Has anyone had anything to do with these woofers, i have read quite alot about them on american websites and all give rave reviews. I emailed Mike from Soundsplinter and he recommended a RL-i10 or RL-i12 as i only have between 250 and 340rms depending on impedance from an SRX3, although the premium series seem to be the most popular.

Anyway i think i will give it a try, with postage its only around $330, but please let me know what you think and your experience

I use the premium series, in the right box it sounded spectacular and for the money u'll find it hard to beat. Not sure about the ignite series, but most user said it sounded similar to the Premium series but have less output. I didn't know they have 12 inch for Rl-i. I do know that only a small number are made in the beggining but discontinued afterward.

The sub itself is top notch quality, the box it came with is mighty thick, good for those 8 weeks shipping time smile.gif.

This is one of the original few that are not on the website, i emailed mike and he said he still has some available and that he would do them for the price of the 10". I would love a RL-p but dont have enough power available at the moment to do it justice.

U might wanna check TC Sounds, the OEM of SoundSplinter, eclipse, etc. They launched a new site and offer a sub of their own, a good looking woofer i must say. Few teaser:

TC-3000, current top of the line

TC-2000, similar to Rl-p from SoundSplinter

TC-1000, similar to Ignite series

yeah checked them out pricing seems similar at least to the woofers im looking at. Emailed them 2 days ago still no reply compared to soundsplinter mike replied within a couple of hours not once but twice to my emails!! More than enough reason for me to go with the latter!!

Mike sure is excel in that department. TC is just setting up their front end business, wouldn't touch it for at least 6 months (review, etc). Good luck with the purchase if u decided to go with it.
