killaklown
why do u want speakers in your back doors??

anyway do they alredy have any loom passing into them/ grommet provisioning it?
mazda626
yeh i had a lookt he otehr day.... there is a loom going in there and there is a grommet also... its a long s shaped on that goes intot he door...

if you must have rear speakers PUT THEM WHERE THEY FIT!
mazda626
they only fit in the boot and ive got subs there so i dunno if thats a good idea//
JonoS
Putting them there is fine, although a lot of people would argue you don't need rear speakers at all.
mazda626
are you sure... casue ive got a station wagon and my subs are in the boot and my speakers would be right near the tailgaets on either side... would the subs affect thier sound at all???
killaklown
no the subs shouldnt affect thier sound really, the subs might overpower them but as we keep saying u dont want your sound in the back you want it upfront with you

It was quite diffucult for me to put strong wires into doors. But I found a solution. First I put a thin still wire though the rubber skin of the main door wire bunch. When the still wire connected the car body and the door I took some scotch, glue an acoustic wire with scotch to that still wire (I made some little hook on the still wire in order to lock the acoustic wire). Lubricated the scotch and pulled still wire to a side you need. It was easier to lubricant then without it. But I warn you that my arms were damaged by some sharp parts of plastic inside of car

I got a wire coat hanger, cut it, straightened it and then fed it through the grommet/tubing from the door frame to the pillar. Then using duct tape/electrical tape attached the wire to the coat hanger and gentle pulled it back through the hole with the speaker cable attached.

if the coat hanger doesnt work , try a electric aerial insert. the nylon mast works a treat
