Has any one got some decent photos of this car.. anyone know the new specs of them...

I do know that it will have IPOD intgration on one model of it. data will show up on the screen on the dash.

they had sneak peeks of it on the news a few nights ago...looks pretty good from what i saw - a sportier, smoother shape giving it an overall smaller appearance, similar to how the lines of the new mitsu380 make it look smaller than it is

i hate the look of it. too european for me. but then again im a muscle car man. so most european styling doesnt do it for me.

its basically an astra (TS model) on steroids

the dashboard i've heard is identical to the one they used in the Twin Turbo Torana Concept car

there was a write up not to long ago and it used most of the concept car interior.

Thats a lot of boot hanging off the back.. looks like a WK Statesman boot on a Mitzoo 380 body, with an Astra front. Mmmm, gawky.

apperntly it looks like a astra front with a monaro rear. the ss will have twin exhaust.

Now THAT to me is a hot looking muscle car.

Ok so the V8 is technically more muscle, however the SV6 looks hot and will give good performance at much better fuel economy IMO

Ahh the dash needs a tissue box holder!

a big YES to the sv6, though i find red dash illumination to get tiring on the eyes - blue and white is much easier to look at.
also dislike the wood trim in the berlina.
new steering wheel looks nice too.

once you get through the GM LAN bus you can do anything to it. this it one of the first holden cars to use it
GM have had it O/S for a few years now. takes poking with a test light to a new level.

unless that car is released elsewhere then there probably wont be a panel for it anytime soon. that said I think it was the calais spec that has the IPOD patch in it.

I'm going to prod one of my local holden yards I service for a good poke and prod IF they will let me.

i dont like the fact that the different models all have different dash and centre pieces ie location of screens etc...

If i am correct, HSV wants to drop a 427 in the new gts, but the old chassis couldnt handle it so they had to wait until the new chassis came out that could handle more power... Hopefully holden stick to that, if they do hold on boys, 7.0L here we come... Apprently a min. of 370kw

Only thing thats scaring is the price of petrol, Holden might have second thoughts now about bringing out a car with an all mighty 7.0L engine! This was when they brang out the concept GTS-R monaro if anyone remembers? Orange ANIMAL hottest thing ever! Thats when holden said their plan was the 427 for new gts. I think it would of been about a year ago.

If anyone knows anything about new hsv models etc please inform all of us. I wanna see fords faces if holden bring out a car with a 7L 370kw engine

ok i like the VE its good to see something different. i think it has one of the best looking interiours on an australian built car with an exteriour to match. does anybody remember when the vt came out? people said ohh its ugly its too euro looking blah blah but its the norm now?. i highly doubt there will be a ls7 in the hsv range they cant make them quick enough to meet the demand for them in america. a supercharged version of the 6l is what i have heard but hey we will see what happens

It has grown on me over the past few days... when I see one rolling around town I'll be able to have a clear decision whether I really do like it or not. The mod potential is there however.

All of which makes it the best looking Commodore ever
I like it, but still offering the base model without aircon standard? I don't know about that.
