yep , i got alpine 8"'s , and i am running these off there own channels , but im gonna go way better on these in the future as in 9" mid to top end? ,,, i got mbq discus splits and i am looking for some surperior split that i will run passive and i am thinking if i have a up front 8-9" for midbass duty, then should i go a high end 5" split or a high end 6.5" split ,,, i have allready been told to get rid of the 3 way set and run a nicer 2way split ,,, but i wanna be different and cause i just wanna smile.gif ,,, how do i approach a 3 way setup upfront with a 8-9" active and a 2way passive.........zion
budget$800-$1200 , but would like second hand

i would personally go with maybe the K2p's, in the 4 inch tho....

easier fit into kick panels, requires less power, plus they dont need to play too low... and thier much cheaper...

have a think,

if not, thier is some micro dynamics 5 inch splits in the for sale section that look good..

Get soem of the PG TI (aka morel) components. As you can get a matching optional 9 inch midbass driver extra, that and they are dang good speakers.
