I actually like the seperate preamp, as you can mount it wherever is convienient for you.
The look of the amps (monoblock excepted) doesn't do anything for me - they look a little too "Pretty boy" for me.
I prefer the solid, chunky "I mean business" look taken on by the likes of ARC Audio, Zapco, Audison (VRx) and the like.
However, as far as performance goes, nothing I've heard from Rainbow has yet dissapointed me, and I have high expectations of these amps. I can not imagine a company of as high quality as Rainbow would release anything that could potentially go against their success. My initial guess is that they would sound spectacular.
