I just heard this on Nova, how whenever the bloke has dreams that involve running, he just can't run. Now I get that too! Last night's dream was slightly different where I was on a bike, and it was really hard on the legs to ride, no matter what. I've had that one a couple of times too....
Am I wierd lol? or does anyone else ever have this happen to them?

I have dreams where i'm being chased by someone and my legs just go slow so I can't get away, then I have a gun and I shoot but the bullet comes out so slow and just bounces off, then I try to hit them and I punch like Mr Burns (like a pussy), then I wake up.
That and falling off a cliff are the only dreams that I have repeatedly.
I want a dream with lego people!!

I am the same as stone. fighting with other people and punch like a pansy and run in slow-mo.
I heard that it was because you are trying to move in you dreams and in bed you are actually trying to move but are restricted by bedsheets etc.
I'm a bit of a restless sleeper. I often wake up with fitted sheet off the bed and doona all over the place. I assume it's because I am trying to fight someone. Sometimes my girl also wakes up with bruises
Does anyone have pre-cognitive dreams. As in, in your dream, it prepares you for something on in real life. Like being woken up or hearing a sound?

When I was in early teens, I used to get a feeling when something happened and then extremely vaguely remember dreaming about it previously. I think it was just my brain playing stupid games.

Yeah im the same as well. Like others said, when i punch its slow mo, when i run its just not fast enough.
My scariest dream of all time was me sitting in a movie theatre and someone tapped my shoulder, i didnt look at them but said to leave me alone and they did it over and over again until i turned around and it was a gollywog (sp) he then chased me for what seemed to be years, and yeah i couldnt run fast enough!!
I was only young and it haunted me for days. Still crystal clear to me now.

I had a dream last nite that I'd missed Aus V Croatia. I woke up at about 6am this morning and bolted downstairs to turn the TV on and found myself watching the Dutch V Argentina.
Not a bad result really.

I continually get the falling dream. The thing is, whenever I do, that stomach dropping feeling always wakes me up.
Scares the crap out of me....

When I was younger I'd get a sensation of falling, or the whole world has just gotten heavy and is collapsing type thing. I could never really describe exactly how it felt though, as it was really confusing.
Used to wake me up though.

None of that ever happens to me for sum reason....
I probably have about 1 dream a month if i'm lucky enough, then about 10 minutes after i wake up i go completely blank, i can't remember anything at all about my dream.

I dont like the dreams when you cant move any of your fingers...they're glued stiff. It's funny at first, then its like awww sh1t, I have a real problem here.
It's usually because I goto sleep with my hand wedged under my stomach.
