Just thinking a bit about the staging of my splits and considering a bit better setup.
Before I look at attempting to build something, i'm wondering if something out there might already suit my needs, i'm guessing there probably is.

Just after a few websites to look at if possible, hopefully with specific measurements.
I've been Googling for ages and all I can find are the Aerpro ones.

I know there are heaps more out there, i've bloody seen them, I just can't find them right now

That's the thing, i'm not too sure.
I'm hoping to see a picture of something and think, "yeah, I can work with that, just trim a bit here and presto"



I haven't got a pic of my doors (Nissan NX-R) so i'll use the VR setup as an example (similar).

Basically, I want to take out the grille pieces and mount a pod inside the existing pod, if you get what I mean.
Not ideal I know, but I really, REALLY don't like modifying things in my car that aren't easily reversible because parts aren't that readily available.
I'm also not confident of building my own, and don't want to pay someone to do it either, it's just not worth it to me (not to mention probably damn near impossible to find a local to do it).

If you could post up some pics, and if possible some measurements I would appreciate it.

the other place I saw was an ebay shop called queensland speaker repairs. They're on google too, and they were selling prefab fibreglass enclosures for $50. Reason being is that I'm thinking of doing exactly the same thing as yourself, and just using some bog and resin to shape the enclosures onto an mdf kickpanel. gotta be easier, cheaper and quicker I reckon

Yeah, there were heaps on Ebay not long ago, now I can hardly find any.

And Chris, the search for DNA led me to www.dnaaudio.com.au, which in turn led me to www.splwholesale.com, and they only have the same ones as Aerpro.
In terms of 6-6.5" pods, i've seen a plastic one, a moulded woofer one and a moulded woofer and tweet one (FG + MDF). All in black or grey.
