Check your blind spot every time you turn a corner, change lanes or turn around.
Watch out for School Zones.
Stop completely at stop signs.
Slow down at cross roads, even when other cars have to give way to you.
Hope you don't have a grumpy old bastard as a tester.
Good Luck!
And don't become one of those smart a$$ kids acting like a richard head cause you have a card that says you can drive.

well I just got 1 tip for ya, my driving instructor told me to sit around 5-6km/h under the speed limit, saves ya getting and instant fail for speeding, and watch for any STOP signs

And don't do laps of the main street. Those people don't realise how comlpetely stupid they look.

If....by chance...its raining....cut down from the speed limit by 5k's or so...and careful round those corners...and slower approaches to intersections too...
Drive like a granny

best advice i can give is to invest in a trip out to the boonies to a small town (i mean, 1-2 officers for the whole town), small town cops are a lot less strict than city examiners
my one tip, when you get to a stop sign, dont look left or right, just keep looking straight until you have come to a COMPLETE stop. That way you won't be tempted to go if you see the chance.

Always engage the gear BEFORE turning a corner, not DURING, I got pinned for that all the time when I was learning, just a bad habit I had picked up.
My Tip: When stopped at railway tracks and the boom gate goes up, DO NOT MOVE until the lights have stopped flashing, even if the guy in front is already 200mts past the tracks and the guy behind is road raging you.
Best of luck.
