MALIBU POWERS UP WITH ROCKFORD FOSGATE
Malibu boats has just announced a fantastic new business partnership with premium audio brand Rockford Fosgate.
All Malibu Boats optioned with stereo’s will feature factory fitted Rockford Fosgate audio systems, adding to their already extensive list of “exclusive” suppliers.
“We wanted something exclusive and of outstanding quality that we could offer Malibu customers” said Simon Hill, Malibu’s manager of sales and marketing.
“Having Rockford Fosgate on board gives us that opportunity by supplying premium stereo equipment that looks great and sounds awesome!”
“The exceptionally high sound quality and cool design of their gear also fits really well with the look and style of our boats” Hill added.
Rockford Fosgate audio systems will be available in Malibu Boats globally giving Australian built Malibu’s even greater synergy with their US counterparts.
Malibu now offers six different factory fitted Rockford Fosgate audio systems, ranging from a base level 4 speaker system, up to a thumping 600 watt, 8 speaker system with an aggressive 12” Subwoofer.

i dont get it, does rockford fosgate also make a marine series of speakers then?????? just like clarion and fusion etc

That is absolutely phat. i do a fair bit of water-skiing in the warmer months, and there is NOTHING like cruising down the river to phat beats.

mate of mine has a malibu wakeboarding boat, with 2 8 inch subs and 2 6.5 inch coaxs mounted up on the bar, a 12" sub up the front, and 4 other 6.5"s mounted around...awesome lol

thats my familys boat from last weekend, lake towerining inland from colie perth WA. water maxed out at 9deg. ie it was so cold it hurt even when wearing a steamer. its camero legend s2.
we got a small stezza in it, just like Liquidity said its awsome cruising down the river with some decnet tunes playing. esp at Towerining 800acers of water+ only boat on the water= doof doof traveling for miles
i'll try get some pics of the stezza we got a custom ported 10' in the hold and 2 sets of 6.5 coax's does damn well for wat it is

You are right there. I just swapped out my clarion speakers in my boat for Polk Audio's. They sound alot brighter than the flat sounding clarions.
Wish Malibus had Rockford Fosgate in them when mine was made.
