Anyone played Baldur's Gate?

I'm stuck in the bottom of the Cloakwood mines and can't beat that boss there

BTW Online walkthroughs don't help much

I've finished the game twice . It was ages ago though, so I can't remember the detail. The boss is a magic user that transports himself around right?

Yeh he is like hardcore untouchable and his minions are these crazy knights who are impossible to kill.

To make matters worse i haven't got a freakin mage or anyone that can use wands or rods etc! Stupid me got rid of them earlier in the game cos they were so weak and annoying

Do you know if i can find any more mage's around the place?

Hes not that hard I haven't played that game for about 4yrs now I used to kill him quite easely but you need a mage or two just cast fireballs down to where he teleports to each time edwin is the best mage in the game if you haven't killed him theres a few others can't remember where they are.

Without a mage for the rest of the game, it'll be pretty hard to finish later on as well

haha doh, maybe I'll give up, i go back to uni in a while, should do somehting constructive until then
