finally got around to testing my girlfriends lanos, we got 133.9db on a RTA, and thats with the mic hanging from the rear view mirror. Didn't want to really push them as bit worries about blowing one
for the subs we have 3 10" response XL each in thier own chamber and ports tuned to 33 Hz, and about 300W per sub.
Is that a decent score on a RTA, and with mic just hagging from mirror?

Not too sure about the comparison between RTA scores and termlab,but thats still a decent score.You would probably be better off positioning the mic about an inch from the windscreen,on the passengers side,even if youve gotta hold it in place
What freq. were you playing,or was it a sweep?

Those subs should handle 300wrms,atleast for short burps anyway.Maybe try tuning the ports higher? around 45-50hz.

i was playing a 52Hz sine wave,
so no one know what a rough score would have been on a term lab meter?

No way to compare an RTA of unknown breeding to TermLAB.

Lanos can get pretty loud.. I fiddled with one and got 145dB from it with a pair of 9512's and single Z1 @ 2ohm.. wish I'd had the opportunity to do a port chop and drop it to 0.5ohm !

i got 131.5 with my 12"....was quite happy as it was running off something like 100wrms....and the amp was being starved of power by the small power wire

fixed power wire...will be looking for a few more DB next time

i had no idea what i was doing either lol....i played a sweep the 1st run...then they were like play 52 or something

i just got 138.0db out of my t3 12" running just over 1000rms wired to 0.5ohm in a lancer 2 door coupe thats not even a hatch back.using a sweep.hope to get more buy adding another amp

i just got 134.7dB out of my pioneer TS-W38C 15" in prefab ported box(no idea on what its tuned too) running a GM-5000T amp(400wrms) playig a maxiumn bass2 sweep
extreamly happy lol
though atm i'm after a comp serise 15" sub for SPL so if anyone has any 2nd hand and still working pm me
