hey guys i have a question regarding a h/u installation and what better crowd to ask. its really pissing me off because ive done like 4 pioneer h/u's before not a problem. The one im doing now is the new 5850. ive never done one that has an OEL display before.....theres an orange/white wire that the diagrams say need to be connected to the internal light terminal......where on earth would this be and is there something else that i can connect it to??? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

the interior light... interesting
you'd get that from the back of the door switch, or directly off the interior light.

actually no. its the dimmer wire. what car?

Orange/white is the illumination wire. It doesn't need to be connected, but if you want to connect it then hook it up to the power wire of one of your dash lights, or if there is an illumination wire in the factory H/U loom connect it to that.
The wire is there to tell the H/U to dim the display.
