Hi,
im about to do an installation on a new mazda 2.
any tips, recomendations or help from anybody who has done one would be greatly appreciated.
any suggestions on getting some good sound would be tops.
Thanx
ATM
The head unit will probably stay stock - its big panel
At the moment i've got an alpine v-power amp and a 10" sub
but i've convinced my mate to go shopping so it can all change
I need to find some subs.

x2.
and that radio wont change unless you want to go to a LOT of effort in tracking down the radio delete option in Europe.

yeah, the radio looks a bit difficult to change, so its staying in.
im guessing that it wont have rca outputs so luckely the amp ive got for it has high frequency inputs so, i'll probably splice the speaker cables to hook them up to the amp.
wheres a good place to find X2?

no it doesn't- you mean high level inputs and those can come off th rear speakers since all you are doing is puttin a sub in it.
if you can find this:

then you can swap the radio. No I dont have one.

I know what you mean. My Mazda3 SP23 has the integrated headunit into the whole dash. I have a Navone LOC but you won't need it since your amp takes in High Level signals.
That dash kit you can find from Scosche (http://www.scosche.com/)

3 can be done - 2 cannot to my knowledge unless you want to import a $300 panel from europe. (where that pic was taken.)

Chris is correct. The 3 can be done - mine is getting done tomorrow

however the 2 can't as far as I know. Best bet would be to use high level inputs or line output converters until a kit is developed. Thats what I did while I waited for a kit to come out for the 3 I was happy with.
