hey all i decided i am going to buy the alpine type R, and i went down the shops to get one but the shop was closed lol. so im gunna get it 2morrow, but can anyone hlp me out with an enclosure? i want to build it myself and possibly a ported one. and what amp shud i get. thanx

For the enclosure, i have found that they work well in 1.5 cu.ft tuned to 35 hz.

As for the amp, what is your budget?

How reliable is that jaycar mono? and is that enough power to run a 2 ohm type R?

More than enough power for a Type R if you load is correctly.

how much you getting th e type R for have you go tit yet?
go for an alpine amp t420.
fairly cheap and good.

i think the shop dude said about 375,havent got it yet, the caraudio excellece was closed, i think it might b up for sales or something
