I thought Scott Owens got 180.3dB and 180.5dB at other events...
It was a B&K Meter Stone, not Termlab.

These stats make it pretty clear who has the loudest car on the planet.
175.1 AVERAGE over 5 mins.

Our prices in Australia are way cheaper than Europe.
The 99Zs are $2500 more than a standard 99, making them rrp $4800-5100.
I'm sure any DD dealer would do a deal for a serious competitor.
The 99Z are built to special order only, delivery in 4-5weeks by air.

Because of a dropped head unit, sh*t happens.
It doesn't make them louder, just the winner in the final.

Deathmatch was carried out after the finals, look at the numbers.

At present DD has the loudest car in the World, if someone beats it, I say good on them. Competition is what drives scores up.

Oh ok... How many dB difference to TL? From what i've read they are pretty similar.
So technically, it should have read:

Twice the power and 3 extra woofers to get 0.1dB higher on TL. Good work

really who cares how much more power.
if twice the power was what it took to take the record then it was worth it.
don't discredit other peoples hard work or talk down the efforts made.
the termlab is the recognised meter and it's what we use to compare our results.
