Hey some of you guys have might of seen people mixing Diet Coke and Mentos, if not check this out:

I plan to fill up a 10Lt or however big it is container with Diet Coke this weekend sometime and try it, I just need a videocamera to tape it

david letterman had a segment on recently (i hate the show, by the way) where two guys put together like, a masive symphony of fountains doing this.

Went for about 10 minutes, they were running around everywhere pulling strings tied to tubes of mentos's, they had bottles on pinwheels, etc etc.

Some funky ideas.

Being a diet coke fan (understatement of the year, I know) I can say this experient works BRILLIANTLY - I've got the best results from slightly warm coke

even funnier is some prank video of a chick guzzling 2L of pepsi and then munching on a packet or two of mentos....trying to debunk the myth, she claims how nothing is happening....then a few seconds later she explodes.

I eat Mentos and Diet Coke all the time in tandem with each other.. all it does it make you feel bloated

If sales for the Coke and Mentos companies suddenly went up I wouldnt be suprised lol but whoever would of thought they could cause such a reaction to 1 another.

lol I'll be doing my 10Lts of diet coke and 5 packs of mentos tonight hopefully, if not then maybe next week. I was gonna do it last nite but I've had a flu most of the week so I'll let u's know how i go and how soaked i get

make sure u get video footage AND photos...

i think for it to spurt high, u need to have a 'bottle-neck' hence the top of the coke bottle...

if ur only going to do it in a 10lt drum, then all its going to do is overflow... u need to have an upside down funnel or something like the top of the coke bottle...

the concept seems obvious, but maybe u forgot... haha

My mates got a digital camera, but none of us have a videocamera the conatiner I'm putting into is a bottleneck and the hole is about 50mm diameter or about that , this is gonna go off lol

has anybody done it without the lid , if not i have an idea , if anybody hasnt tryed this before ,

put blutack or anything sticky in the lid [enough so it will fall soon after] and then basically stick mentos 1 by 1 on to each other coming down from the lid , close it then tap the lid so they all drop off into it =D. ?

I used to love diet coke so much but my dad got a scary email the other week.
It said that one of the sweetening agents in diet coke leads to headaches and
miagrains and has been directly linked with brain tumors... so creepy.... i don't
know what to beleive any more....

We tried wif 2Lt bottles of coke and put a whole pack of mentos in that but it didn't shoot real hgigh for some reason so I just left it lol
