The Car Audio Australia Approved Dealer Network - a new concept developed by CAA to promote the use of specialist retailers around Australia, while giving Car Audio Australia members and consumers peace of mind in their purchases has started rolling out in limited fashion.

Long time Car Audio Australia supporters have been approached initially with the ADN concept and it has been strongly supported by those listed below. A very encouraging amount of retailers from around the country have also expressed interest in becoming ADN members and applications will be considered very shortly.

There's still a few fine details to thrash out (with feedback from industry members) and literature is still being printed etc, together with the organisation of official Membership Cards for Car Audio Australia members to compliment the ADN system, but the Approved Dealer Network is certainly on its way to being successful.

We have also investigated a National Toll Free phone number that will put the caller in touch with their nearest ADN member automatically that we hope to have up and running in the near future.

For the moment however, we are very pleased to welcome the following ADN APPROVED Dealer Members. These ADN Members have been subject to and passed the standard application criteria for ADN consideration.

QUEENSLAND
Northfield Car Sound - Moorooka
Rod Meager Radio - Toowoomba

NEW SOUTH WALES
Doran Pro Audio - Bankstown
FHRX Studio's-Caringbah
Auto Sound & Vision - Castle Hill

WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Alberts Car Stereo - Myaree
Audioart & Technologies - Perth

SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Car Toys - Hindmarsh

We look forward to a steady growth and refinement of the Car Audio Australia Approved Dealer Network, and the support of Car Audio Australia's members and the industry in the concept.

I've had a few people ask me on msn and in person if there's only going to be one "ADN dealer" per state.

So far i've told them that if someone qualifies, they'll probably be added to the list, its *probably* not just the "Best of state". Thats my understanding.

Can someone confirm i'm correct?

If ANY shop passes all the criteria they can become ADN approved biggrin.gif

Its all about who can look after the customers!

and there we go, more shops just went into the list. Thanks.

I suppose one thing the non-ADN members won't like is that if they indeed are NOT members, CAA users will start wondering WHY they aren't members. I mean, if you were a store with the necessary service and skills, you've certainly got nothing to lose by joining. However business may go elsewhere if you don't I imagine (that's based on how I personally would spend my money, nothing else).
